Are we talking more about opening the economy than than everything else COVID-19 related?

Is all the doom and gloom subsiding?

Time takes time. Still looking at July realistically. Will let you know if anything changes.

There are still areas yet to peak.

Media can only ride one hoax at a time. You will see something else soon. POTUS changed the narrative last night. He is basically telling the states to reopen. Most true Americans believe this. It will start a fight with the liberal governors. Trump knows he will come out on top of that fight.

Why haven’t we reopened then? Why wait until May?

Texas is beginning. GA is business as usual for the most part.

I long for the day to sit down at a restaurant and order a beer. I have a good friend who owns a small local restaurant. He told me over the weekend there is a big movement in his field to open back up and telling the state government to shove it.

I agree with him. Should be no way legal for a government to shut down a private business.

Texas have by far the worst governor in the country. Epic clown. Just a little heads up.

Do you expect business to be usual when they open back up? Seems like people will still be cautious about their every day life. Probably will have limits on restaurants, stores, etc

Yup. Those states naturally practice social distancing without even knowing it

Errrr, DC is on that list dontchaknow :)

Not sure HI is scarcely populated either, I know RI is more densely populated too

I do concur natural space has something to do with it. But I'm going to dare to say something more explosive. Those states don't tend to have large impoverished urban areas, and I'd bet they trend towards the bottom in social assistance generosity.

Multiple factors in play. OR and WA for example, are not densely populated

Some areas yes. Others no. Younger will get out and flock to restaurants and bars. Others will be cautious

Some restaurants will try and get people back with safety precautions, others will keep the same , tables close, bar stools close etc
